Whitefield (ROBY) is not just a Cricket Club, Its a friendly community club. Once you become a member you will never want to leave.
People like the Club Captain Dave Cargill, J Sheehan, Tony Peacock and full of cricket knowledge (and CARLING) Kevin Taylor are just a few.
Youngsters Mark Green and Paul Dwerryhouse (Jr)won the young player of ther year award - 2007 from Merseyside and Southport Alliance League.
Full of fun Paul Dwerryhouse (Snr), John Samber and Eddie Dobson ensure the club is full of emotions and fun.
Club pleased that TARIQ AFRIDI, brother of Pakistani star SHAHID AFRIDI joined the club recently with his friend and cousin RAFI AFRIDI. Both performed well with ball and bat in first few games.
There are six qualified cricket coaches lead by John Cole(although all six cant catch, bat, bowl or field<>> just kidding) here and they hold regular evening sessions on Mondays for under-16s and on Thursdays for adults. Special afternoon sessions are held throughout the summer holidays in association with Knowsley Council.
