RESULTS
On Saturday the 2nd XI (29/05/10) were held to a draw at a raining Ashworth. Mark Green got 77 but was stupidly ran out...he was dropped at least 4 times on along the way!!
We declared on 176-9 after 46 overs
Ashworth made 110-8 with Tony Peaock, Tom Rigby & Kevin Taylor all taking a share of wickets
The 1st XI was rained off on Saturday
The 1st XI beat Earlsetown on bank holiday Monday (31/05/10).
The skipper Ste Cargill won the toss (shock!!) and elected to bat. Mark Green (44) & Ste Price (42) were the only that performed with the bat when posting a total of 133 all out!
Ste Price, Jamie Turner and Tom Rigby (Julian) all bowled well and Earlestown were all out for 102!!
COACHING INFORMATION
There are six qualified cricket coaches lead by John Cole here and they hold regular evening sessions on Mondays for under-16s and on Thursdays for adults. Special afternoon sessions are held throughout the summer holidays in association with Knowsley Council.
